The permanent exhibition presents the works of the painter who lived and worked in Telč for many years. She often depicted the life of the Roma and later Christian motifs on her large canvases.
The legacy of the work of the multifaceted artist Míla Doleželová and her husband, painter and graphic artist Jiří Mareš, is not only in their above-average painting and drawing technique, but is also closely related to the place in which they lived and worked. Vysočina and the town of Telč became their background and inspiration.
Doleželová's large-format paintings with spiritual and Romani themes have no comparison in this country, as evidenced by her numerous successes abroad. The exhibition at the Masaryk University Centre in Telč presents one of the largest collections of the couple's works and also the dramatic story of the collection itself.
